Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest, instant)
- Open the Zafit AI app.
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom-right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account, profile, and every record you own are removed immediately.
The button is always reachable from inside the app — no support ticket required.
Option 2 — Email us (if you can't access the app)
If you've lost access to the app or the device, email zafitai1234@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account".
We'll verify ownership and delete the account within 7 calendar days (usually within 24 hours). You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, phone, sex, height, weight, conditions, medications, allergies, goal, fitness level).
- All health logs you created — meals, workouts, body scans, skin scans, blood-work, sleep entries, mental check-ins, journal entries, voice consults, photos, music uploads.
- Your AI coach conversations and history.
- Your community memberships and direct messages.
- Your authentication tokens and refresh tokens.
What we keep, and why
- Anonymized aggregates (e.g. "this many people use feature X") — these never identify you and stay forever.
- Billing records and tax invoices — Indian tax law requires us to retain these for 7 years. They reference your transaction, not your health data.
- Backup snapshots may include your data for up to 30 days, after which they expire automatically.
What about subscriptions?
If you've subscribed to Pro or Premium through the App Store or Play Store, deleting your Zafit AI account does not automatically cancel the subscription with Apple or Google. To cancel:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Zafit AI → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zafit AI → Cancel.
Changed your mind?
Account deletion is permanent. We can't restore deleted health data. If you only want to take a break, just stop using the app — your account stays as-is until you come back. You can also export your full record before deleting (Profile → Export data).
